What makes Grab Media different from other video platforms?
While there are many video platforms and websites out there, Grab Media is focused on the distribution and monetization of premium video. Because we are focused on professionally-produced video licensed through content partnerships, we do not accept or feature user generated video. What is the difference between a Content Network vs. an Ad Network?
Drawing from the well-established and accepted practices of the broadcast television and cable networks, we create new advertising opportunities by working with Publishers to program videos their audiences want to watch (premium inventory). Whereas, an Ad Network works to re-sell existing advertising opportunities their Publishers have trouble selling themselves (lower-value inventory). Grab Media is a video content service for Publishers providing them the videos they need and the videos their audience want to watch; whereas, the various Ad Networks are simply matchmakers between Advertisers and Publishers.
How do I know if my content is a fit for Grab Media?
While we do not accept user-submitted videos, if you produce content that is engaging and valuable, you may want to consider partnering with us. We look for videos with high production values that comply with our editorial policies and is engaging to audiences. We do not accept videos that are spam, product placements or contain offensive material. We also do not accept slideshows or podcasts, or videos that infringe on the copyrights of others.
Do you have a copyright policy?
We take copyright law extremely seriously. For this reason we adhere to a copyright policy compliant with the Digital Millenium Copyright Act.
Does Grab Media produce its own videos?
Grab Media does not directly produce video; instead, we have licensed videos from over 200 video producers that span six major publisher-friendly categories include: Entertainment News, Sports News, Health and Lifestyle, How-To and Local News. In addition, we index and self-classify our videos to allow our partners' videos to be discovered and exploited in the most granular ways to serve the needs of the most niche and topic-oriented Publishers in search of a video solution.
Where does Grab Media distribute videos?
Grab Media operates a large-scale syndication network of over 140,000 partner sites, as well as many sites and blogs that embed our videos via various in-page Display Widgets. However, not all video content is distributed to our entire network – as some websites have stricter rules or specific standards on what type of content they feature on their pages, we respect their editorial vision and provide them with tools to filter through our library and choose exactly the type of content they would like to receive. Do video producers get paid for their videos on Grab Media?

What is Content-as-a-Service (CaaS) or Video-as-a-Service (VaaS)?
Video-as-a-Service (VaaS) is a Publisher service where we provide a video editorial offering where the video content and technology are offered as a turnkey solution for those who want to compliment their website with high-quality videos.
We provide high-quality videos from respected and viewer trusted Video Providers (such as Reuters, Fox Sports, etc.) that Publishers can immediately offer on their website in a turnkey manner to their viewers.
We foot all of the infrastructure and delivery costs (technology and streaming costs), so our Publishers do not need to outlay any money to give us a try! We absorb all of the risk and costs and pay you on a revenue share basis on the views you generate.
Why should I embed your videos and not videos from YouTube or others?
Because we will pay you for the views you earn for us (and for our video producers) against your website.
